I got this idea when I found a toy dog robot at the thrift store. I only got one usable shot of my dog, Taz, checking out the toy, but it gave me the look I wanted. Then I combined it with a shot of a portion of the ceiling of the Red Planet Diner in Sedona, Arizona. Finally, I did some minor tweaking in PhotoShop to adjust the contrast and sharpness.

This is actually a clever idea. Too bad the background is so fuzzy. Maybe use a tripod or steady yourself to avoid camera shake. Also suggestion, if you are working in image editing program, the subjects should have a little shadow around their legs, which would look more real.
