 Technically, yes, a canid by definition

A grabbed shot during a photo session when the model wasn't posing and was genuinely distracted and therefore unaware I was taking the shot.

Wouldn't hve entered this but I'm in the MS Charity tournamnet and felt I had to submit

I think this'll see me eliminted if I wasn't already

The background and purposeful "I'm not looking at the camera" give this a staged feel...

I don't usually like comments or give them, but since candids are near and dear to my heart, I have decided to comment on every photo in this challenge.

This is ok. Definately an interesting face. The thing in the eye is really a distraction to me though, but love the hair. Not much emotion and doesn't scream candid to me as in a really good candid. More like a portrait gone wrong kind of feel. It's a 4 vote.
