Hi .. Thanks for everyones comments on my picture in the Movie Challenge..the Ship is atop of a Bar called Pirates Cove….in the Place I work... River Palms Hotel and Casino... Laughlin, Nevada.. It is Approx. 60 ft...long... and a couple stories high….the pic was cropped… resized… saturated to show night...Sharpened a hair..and I think that was about it…as for the subject…the ship is animated .. with a Pirate… a Wench.. a couple of Parrots….and they are full of song ….and talk… movement looks about as good as Disney..and I think it adds to the experience of visiting the Casino…If I can ..I will show everyone the real picture ..one of the other Challenge entries… “At Work”… has a portion of the bar….thank you all again…
Looks really good. Focus and clarity are great, and the way you have caught the smoke coming out of the cannon is great as well. I think this is a wonderful representation of the movie. Did you actually find a ship that was firing cannons or is this a poster or photo of a screen? Nice work either way. I like the blue tint as well. ~Heather~
Great shot! Was this on the the actual theme park ride? I love the blue tone. It goves it a mid-night feel to it. Capturing the smoke coming out of the cannon is also a nice touch.
Very cool composition and colors. A little bit dark but I like it because it sets a mood. I haven't seen the movie, but have seen the trailers and it looks good. I can see some jagged lines, maybe due to compression. Be careful with your editing software.
Great shot, lovely blue tint. Nicely exposed. Composition is just a little on the chaotic side though, I'm not really sure what we're meant to be focusing on. Great focus and clarity. 9
