One of your best. Your tones are perfect. Composition--flawless. I love how the tree bends to the left. Anyway, it was one of my top shots for this challenge--and the only one I returned to during the challenge to see it over and over again. You should feel very pleased with this photo!
I think it was the tones of this image that made it for me. it reminds me of the fall, and its cool breezes and falling leaves. I think this shot rocks.
This is one of my favorite photos of yours yet. In fact, I am adding it to my favorites. I would re-voice the opinion that I can't believe this scored so low, but then again, anything above a 5.5 seems pretty damn good to me these days. I no longer care about voting either. In fact, I don't vote. I just leave comments on images that impress me, but I wait until after the challenge is over so that I can interpret them with the help of the photographer's comments. Keep up the good work and thanks for the recent push to work on my prints for sale and marketing. I'd be interested to here more about your recent referrer and sales technique if your interesting in sharing.
I like this very much. Even concrete steps look ancient in this sepia color, and the stark angles of the relatively smooth steps next to an old textured tree are a nice contrast.
