This is one of the family rat buddies (as my youngest daughter dubbed them). We acquired him from my son's girlfriend when she discovered she couldn't take him with her on the plane when she moved to South Carolina (I would have thought he could go on a small pet carry-on but maybe they have regulations about rodents). My son and his girlfriend named him for Lemmy Killmeister of Motorhead. I think it suits him as he is the most 'ratty' looking of our three.
He is very sweet and a bit timid. He is a very good homemaker and likes to spend his time fixing up his environment.
