I completely love this image. All right, so you have to work a little bit to see the interest of the subject itself. But the textures, tones, and colors you have captured are utterly astounding.
... Somehow this image doesn't really have the kick to it that it should though. The main subject is great, the background is okay, it fits. But I would probably have gone in for something with more impact to it, maybe a different angle or composition I don't know exactly. It just needs more kick to it.
It's beautiful. Elegant and thoughtful. Understated and confident.
But maybe the best thing about it is that it does not have a "kick" to it.
