Trying to be helpful here, as I don't this this shot will score well. Firstly, the focus isn't close enough or detailed enough on the rhino hide to truly meet the challenge subject of texture. Secondly, the fact that the face is almost completely hidden by the bush in the foreground, means that there is no true point of focus to the image as it stands. On the other hand, the light is lovely as it shines on the skin and it's just a shame you couldn't get in closer for the shot. Perhaps a tighter crop featuring just the upper middle part of the image would have done better. |
