A rose, soaked in a glass made of bohemian crystal. I then shot through the side of the glass, holding the rose in place with my fingers. I used extension tubes and Speedlight SB-800 on TTL-auto.
Adjusted curves in Nikon Capture Ed., colour and contrast.
Layerwork in Photoshop, including colour, hue and saturation. Cloned what looked like a tiny little flicker of dust from one of the pedals. Decreased noise and unsharp mask. The photograph is not cropped. Resized and saved for web.
exif says f0.0, those tubes play havoc, if I remember correctly it was f5.6.
