The horse's shadow is very sharp, effective, but the other shadow running down behind his head is distracting. A tighter crop on top would help that to some extent.

Nice idea, composition, lighting, interesting shadow of the horse. Might help if you could eliminate the other shadows. Good title to make me look again and catch a story and the feel.

I like this. The mane shadows on the horse's face are distracting, but I like the expectation and the strong B&W. Nice job.
