Amaryllis in bloom, sprayed with water. I like the abstract feel to the shot, and I like the leading line of the petal to the biggest droplet of water. Too bad the flower wasn't in bloom in time for the abstract macro challenge!

I was looking for something in your portfolio that I could comment on for the 'Need Comments' thread that I could offer some acutal critique. But then I came to this and needed to comment, even though I couldn't offer anything constructive. I really like how you the textures of the petal creates some amazing leading lines that draw you right into this photo. I also like your choice of DOF, it really makes all the water droplets pop along that back edge of the petal. What I don't understand is how this didn't score above a six, maybe not enough texture for some?!?
