Looking at the photo again, perhaps I undersharpened the shell. Most minimal PS work was done here. Crop, Levels, Sat/Hue, Resize and Sharpen.

The low sun really emphasize the fine texture of the sand and the warm lighting really makes this zing. Well done!

Luminous. Very pretty capture. It reminds me a bit of a photo of seaweed I have in my portfolio. Great image quality and perfect exposure, IMO. I haven't seen all the entries yet but this should be in the top 5.
