I really like the flowers... reminds me of a van gogh...In my opinion, cropping this shot much tighter (eliminating the sphere shape ) and toning down the flash burst would have moved this photo from good to great.

This is a very creative idea... my only suggestion would be to get rid of the ceiling fan, kitchen, etc, in the background... pulls attention away from the flowers IMHO. Maybe take it with a wall behind you? I still like this, however. (aren't those gerbera daisies?)
