I decided to go with a simple last minute entry, I adjusted the shot with levels, resized and submitted, I don't expect it to do well but I think it at least meets the challenge.

This is a really cool idea. I think it would have worked out better in my eyes if the point of the crayon right at the top edge of the label were in focus.
This is one that worked better as a thumbnail, probably because the very small version had better definition. At this size it just looks sort of phallic... :-)
