This was an interesting exercise. I had a digital camera for all of 2002 - mostly the Kodak DC240. However, I see now that I apparently do not have originals for any of those shots. I think I had a hard drive crash that year. But then I got my Canon Powershot G3 for Christmas and I happen to have a few originals from the week after Christmas. This is actually one of my favorite pictures. I had some others that I considered entering since I'm guessing that a cat shot will score poorly but...eh.

I like the fact that this isn't a straight-on shot, with the head angled and the tail in the background. The eyes and whiskers makes this shot (the whiskers almost look flourescent, but it works!)
