The one subject that comes easily to me - sunsets.
Christmas eve sunset 5:55pm in Morro Bay. Had spent the day preparing for family to visit, then noticed conditions outside were looking good for a great sunset. This had to be one of the best sunsets I've witnessed to this day. When I got back to the house my family had arrived and my mom said "When I saw that sunset on our way in, I knew you'd be out shooting it!" My mom, who got me into this photography adiction.
Editing: some boost in saturation a little clean up and Neat Image, and frame added, but pretty-much as is. Will post some other shots from this eve on profile.
Wooo Hooo!!! My first ribbon!! Way cool! Thanks ALL!!

Wow, how could I have missed this during voting?
Lovely, lovely! And this from a point-n-shoot camera :)
Good job, very interesting colours and tonal. Congrats on the ribbon!
Congrats, it really is about time you scored a ribbon! Really beautiful shot. I like the reflections you captured highlighting the boats and trees. So glad ya broke in the the ribbons....the first of many no doubt ;-)
Congratulations on a great image. I particularly like the foregraound interest. The different coloured dinghies and the reflections of the clouds on the still water make it for me. Well done.
Is that color real? It looks great! Somehow maybe it seems too perfect...? That will have no impact on my scoring, but if you made use of some digital effects I would be curious as to how... Wonderful shot!
