This was taken with the sun blasting at me through my sliding glass door and through the matted top to a glass table that I also used fo rthe Deja Vu challenge background ... taken in my "sun" room. The bottom surface is a mylar material that was quite dirty from my previous photo shoot but I was shamefully too rushed to clean it off - I think that might be the downfall in the end on this one! ... Shutter clocked at 1/4000 and f9 for some focus on everything. I like the glowy thing going on here but I was messy so hopefully my use of Noise Ninja isn't too excessive for everyone -- Man I wish we could spot-edit this one!!!!

The best of the gray glasses shots, due to the clarity, added texture of drops, the fact the stem things leave the top of the shot, and whatever you've got in the background at the bottom. All told this is both an interesting picture and a good interpretation of the challenge.
The effect with the glass and the vase on the right hand side works really well. I am not sure about the inverted glass on the left. For me compositionally it does not seem to add anything to this shot. I accept that it does balance the set up you have here, however removing it from the shot and a having a more central image with the other two elements would I feel have more visual strengths.
I like the fact that you have gone for a monotone approach, which means that your image is structured around line and form rather than colour. As a concept this works well, and overall, I feel that you have a good image here. I hope it does well for you…
