 Wild flower by the sea. Same spot as my "Square Crop" entry.
I wanted to capture the vibrant yellow in this wild flower, but also the essence of the surroundings in which it grows.
FYI, if you could walk in a straight line to where the camera is pointed, you would end up in New York... after some 3280 miles... can *almost* see its skyline...

Wow.. somehow, seeing the flower in front of the ocean is surprising. Nice light on the flower, though the tips seem a tad overexposed. The blue against the petals is a nice contrast. :)
