My friend picked this Garden Dwarf up in Germany. The plan is to travel with him around the world and take pictures of him. In maby 2-3 years we will take him back to his home with a photoalbum. Hopefully with picture of him all over the world.

Just kidding ;-) But when I saw this photo during the challenge I immedeatly remembered a story I read in the newspaper about how somebodys garden dwarf went on vacation and sent a postcard back with a picture of himself at a caribbean beach. Your dwarf seem to have been catched by the same kind of wanderlust. :-) I like the humour in the photo and I think it's also technically a great photo. So I gave you a 10, but I didn't finish voting on the 20% so that probably didn't help you much.
Anyway, I would also love to see the complete album at the end or maybe the dwarf will now have an appearance on DPC more often?
Okay... TECHNICALLY, that's "out of the garden", not "in" it... but in this case, I just don't care.
That having been gotten out of the way: This is HILARIOUS. I read a book once where someone stole a garden gnome (or something similar) and sent it on a trip around the world, and I thought it was funny then; this is obviously the photographic proof.
I think I might have turned him slightly water-wards -- not all the way; I can see why you'd want to get the face -- so that it more looks like he's sight-seeing, looking at what the viewer is looking at, and/or made him more centered as vacation photos tend to be, but given my scores, you probably shouldn't take my advice. :) (I would have liked it better one of those ways, though.)
Great picture, colors, comp, clarity....not exactily in the garden, more from the garden....hmmmm...interpretation of the theme....out of the box thinking....on vacation get me a garden gnome someone quick!
exceptional colorsceme and composition, would be perfect without the dwarf. The dwarf makes it humorous, attracts the eye and drops it right into the subject. Compliments.
