 I think that the water in the ocean definitely adds to the composition, but I have a feeling that because water isn't the central subject, it's not going to do well. But I still feel that it is an important role in the composition. Anyway, I shot this at Dockweiler beach at Sunset. ISO at 800 I believe with a fairly fast shutter and low aperature.

The flame there looks great, but I think it detracts from looking at the water. -6

I like the heat wave effect on the sunset and the cold colors VS the hot of the flame. good job

What a fun photo! Stirs up very warm feelings. I will vote a photo like this higher because it touches me -- even if there are technical flaws because I think that's what photography is supposed to do. Great job!!!
