I like your idea. I think if you turned the camera so you'd get the whole sculpture, and eliminate the out of focus bg this could be much better. Hope this helps. Best of luck! :-)

niec vibrant colours, and a good composition. It might be a little too close to the edge of the frame tho, but thats just a judgement call
