I do like the concept of this composition, however I would have like to see another colour, other than white, used in the foreground (either harmonizing or contrasting) other wise crop it out all together it is just too distracting.
Awesome clarity and detail here. Very nice job on the lighting. Definitely fits the challenge well. I'm wondering if the image would be stronger without the white area of the surface at lower right, like, just filling the frame with the subject. But maybe that would weaken the dynamics of the composition? Something maybe to try, but either way, nice shot.
