 Stacked Nikon 6T +2.9 diopter and another +4 diopter macro filters, hand-held in front of the lens. 3 inches from subject.

Cropped 500x500 pixels.
Channel Mixer to convert to black and white.
Curves adjustment.
Contrast.
Convert to duotone.
USM for contrast/sharpness.
No Neat Image.
I think that's it ;-) What is it? I'm not telling.
