ladymonarda is right--the flare is distracting. That sand and the shadows are great though. This would be a good time to use a digital blending technique. One exposure for the sky, and a second for the cave.
BTW, this would be a great subject for the Framing II challenge. :D
Very warm colors. I like the way you caught the sun in the corner. Maybe removing the flare on the left would add less distraction. I would also like to see more detail on the cave wall, if you can dodge it to show it. Overall, I really like the image as a whole.
