a nice idea, but the the poor focus lets you down. also, the stuff iin the background right is distracting. a differnet angle might hav improved this gretly - shooting the hand form more front on?

Nice idea, pose, composition. Looks like front focus, focus on fingers, sharper with more DOF would be better.

Nothing seems to be quite so sharp as it should be. Also, the white balance is strange and unbecoming. I like the actual "subject matter," though.
