I have loved Inede's Nowhere Else To Go image since it won the blue ribbon in the Dead End Challenge last fall. Since we also have a ladybug problem on warm days, I wanted to see if I could pay him homage by emulating his shot. Plus it was such a challenge to accomplish!
I also did not harm any bugs in the making of this image. They were already all dead. I used Krazy Glue and tweezers to arrange & attach the little critters to the leaf. Boy was it a bitch! HOURS of tedious work. LOL But it was fun.

I don't know how I missed coming back to this or even on the many times I have viewed your profile. This got a 10 from me - just perfect! Very well executed and extremely well exposed - focus, lighting, balance all very well done. The processing kept everything true. The colors are beautiful and well preserved. Very well done! Congrats on the top 20!
WOW!!! Guess the next time I have the little buggers dropping off the ceiling onto the bed I'll gather them all up for you! LOL MMM
Congratulations on your finish. Seeya next Sun. SIS
Did you use superglue also?;) Getting those wings to stay up was not easy! I like the angle that you used. It keeps all the ladybugs in focus. I hope you had as much fun with this one as I did. I am flattered that you thought enough of my picture to try it yourself. Thank you.
