- reduced overall brightness with brightness/contrast
- channel mixer (0,0,100)
- curves
- usm (high radius)
- add a bit of a red tint with hue/saturation
- resize
- neatimage (got rid of a lot of rough shadow areas)
- usm (low radius)
- thought a border might be appropriate

for once my tendency to make really dark images is appropriate to the challenge. still, I have no idea how this is going to score. If I were scoring it myself, I'd probably give it a 7, but from the DPC crowd at large, I'd be happy averaging a 6.

thanks to Jenny for letting me take pictures of her :)

post-challenge: oops, this was a bit sub-par for me, score-wise, anyway. sometimes my own tastes are just a bit too much off... and I think rick13601 has a good point, which is basically that my title is lousy.

oh well. we already knew I'm bad with titles.

now I just gotta take something for yellow III... my very first challenge was yellow II, when I got a 4.9 and one lonely comment... I look forward to redeeming myself in this part of the color spectrum!

I see this photo and I'm thinking that the Subject isn't very lonely.
