This is a sweet picture. It does seem to be more about the baby than hands. Being able to see the woman's hand is an afterthought.

Nice shot, just a bit OOF. The straight on lighting also robs the image of implied depth.

I like the composition but I suspect color may just have worked better for this shot as there is not as much contrast as I would have liked.

Nice idea and composition, nice arms. Would be better for this composition with more exposed hands, e.g., untuck left hand and put in frame would be better. Nice B&W choice, but please consider adjusting levels so the image doesn't feel too midtone gray.

What a beautiful baby! Love the texture of the sweater - the expression of the Mom is a little more intent than loving, but it is a sweet photo - good job!
