I have been on a road trip, and I just got into Savannah, GA. I figured that I wouldn't try to enter this competition. But once I was in the hotel room, I was pretty bored and I figured, what the heck, I have 3 hours. So I set out jogging down the road, in search of something to shoot for 2 sec. I did several road shots with streaking headlights, but nothing stood out. I went across the street in search of a roof that I could scale, found some pipes against a car repair shop, and climbed up. The different angle didn't help the street shots much. Then I spotted the roof vents and started playing around with this. When I saw the outcome, it made me laugh and I figured I would submit it.
I set the timer on my camera, set the vent spinning, and then laid down, stopped breathing and hoped for the best.
Very little post production, a bit of cloning and dodging/burning.

First Impression:
My eyes were drawn to the dark center of the sphere, down the body and then back to the sphere
Composition:
Body position is unnatural. Perspective is going away at the bottom, vs at the top. Don’t know what’s on either side, but picture appears to be cropped too narrow.
Subject:
Meets challenge. Time element is present. Thanks for using a 2 sec exposure
Technical:
Bit grainy, but that could be a result of 1600 ISO. Like the choice of B&W. Works well with the “roof”
Summary:
Quite the resourcefulness in finding a subject to shoot! Good concept, but the spinning “head” was obviously not a “head.”
I like the tonal range and sharp contrast of this B&W, the texture of the ground is awesome, I'm lost on the "spinning head" though. I'll keep an open mind though.
