Shot was taken in my bedroom.Pinched my girlfriend shoe, found one of mine freshly bought shoes.I've used heavy curtains to limit the amount of light in the room. Black fabric - for background. Used candles light to lit up the scene only.Played a bit with aperture / shutter to achive minimum glare/gosts from candles.
Didn't do much adjustments on computer: magenta, red color; reduced a bit of noise.

Meaning they were getting rather intimate? You would get much better with a hint of a bed on the background - the first couple of shoes already going there...
Need more light on the shoes. It's too hard to see them. try using a soft like like 30 watts with a red cloth on it to dim it. this would bring out the red more and brighten up the shoes.
