One thing for sure you can learn from this: Keep you pictures bigger. Use the space you are allowed too. 640x640.
The picture it self is ok. Maybe if you used some other light with or without the flash.

Could be nice, especially with the turquoise color spot. But the image is just too small. Please see Learn > Tutorials > Using Photoshop to Prepare Photos for DPC Challenges.

It's really best to use all the pixels you can. With a 261x196 it's very hard to see any detail.
