A recent ski trip produced an opportunity for great photographs. I was a bit leary of bringing my digital SLR on the slopes, but this snowmobile tour was a good chance to capture nature at its best.

Are the snowmobiles a necessary part of the picture, to tie it in with the book? I'm not familiar with that one, and to me, they really detract from the beauty of the scene. A person or two walking or facing in that direction would have had the same effect, IMO.
