Back in 1991, my friend Kate took me on a trip around Israel, and one night we camped on the western shore of the Sea of Galilee. The mosquitoes made sure I woke up in time to photograph this sunrise; those hills on the other side of the water are the State of Jordan.
This is a scan made from a print from a P&S film camera.
I really like the contrast between the darkness, which is almost a silhouette against the softness that you have captured here.
Very nicely done and so pleasing to the eye.
