My shoes, my window, my bedroom. This is a shot that I love but that I realize was pretty much designed to clash with DPCers. There are a lot of imperfections in it - crooked horizons, distracting elements, so-so focus, generally being the definition of a technical disaster, and so forth - it's intentionally grainy, and the border's excessively large.
Why do I love it? Beats me.

The shot is totally under-exposed, expecially considering that the shoes are supposed to be the subject. I like the framing, but can't forgive that I can't really see what I'm (I think) supposed to be looking at. The thick black frame serves as a slight distraction from this flaw, but can only save the image so much.
