We left Yellowstone in a hurry, quite underwhelmed by its geothermal weirdness in the midst of a glut of RVs, too much burnt forest, and way too many mosquitoes. The extra time we got from leaving Yellowstone early allowed us to spend a night on a hill just past the National Elk Refuse near Jackson, Wyoming. This photo was taken on the drive through the Refuge in the morning on the way back to the main road.
