My apologies to my wife for putting her through this rough round of voting. I shouldn't have pushed this image as much as I did. I was trying something different in PhotoShop and really messed up on the skin tones etc. Thanks to all who left helpful comments I really appreciate it.

Cloned out skin imperfections
Applied gaussian blur 2 or 3 (i can't remember)
Whitened eyes
Cloned out some more hot spots on cheek and forehead
Dodge and burned hair
applied USM on eyes 75 2.0 3 about four times
USM on rest of image 65 2.0 3

Her facial expression is a bit creepy and whatever you did to her skin is not flatering. retouching should be sublte. Also on a protrait your light source should be eye level or higher. Your light source is lower than that and it is not as flatering for women or men
Don't know about 'In Your Eyes', but it's in my face. Not sure what you were trying to say here, but it's doesn't work for me. I know a good rule of photography is get in close, but I think this is a little too close.
