Wow, this is some major focus! I love how you've got his leg outside the green border. Really gives it character and interest!

You must be from the south!

You do not need this border. the photo is interesting without it. I think it takes away

Another one of my top pics for this challenge. Spectacular DOF working for you in this shot. I also Like how you kept the leg just outside the border. Creepy little bug you got there! 10 from me.

I like the out of frame that you've done here. I hope you post what you did to remain legal.

ooh clever... this will do well. Good focus on the macro, you've managed to get good detail without oversharpening which is always good.

Excellent macro - so much detail. I love the colors and how you tied the green into your framing. Excellent work!!

Love the macro. Interesting twist with the border. Don't care for the green color, though, but I guess it matches the bug, so no points off for that. Good lighting, good use of DOF, nice composition.

Very clever use of the frame, just hope it doesn't get you in trouble with the rules... The specks underneath are a little distracting as well, but beautifully sharp picture.

this is a nice 3D effect you get. Where is the bugspray :-)

Lol, interesting idea, shame the angle couldn't allow for 2 legs to be outside on 2 borders.
