 A very simple setup, the flower was held in a champagne flute with a black sheet in the background. In PS- Rotated flower, increased saturation, fixed one petal flaw, dodged and burned, adjusted saturation and curves, added border as a new layer and erased the parts that fell over the petals, resized, USM, save for web

Love the center positioning of the flower. The yellow is bright and stands out nicely against the black background. Lighting is perfectly even. Not so fond of the red line and the flower spilling out over it. I feel your photo would stand alone without needing to add "gimmicky" elements. Just my opinion.
