There's a lot of interest created here - I think primarily because the in-focus elements are darer than the out-of-focus. My difficulty is wuth the cluttered-ness of the background - as much with the way in which its blurred as the fact that its blurred. Loses you a couple of points - on an entirely subjective 'I don't like it' basis.
Very interesting image. The sharp water droplets nicely contrast with the out of focus ones. The plant poking in at the left is a bit distracting though. By taking that out the impact would most likely increase. - 8
Very interesting subject.. I would have liked a little more focus,, anywhere! It's hard to make a judgment on what exactly is the focal point of this shot. As an abstract it's also too confusing too my eye.
Technically, I know this is a flower, but MAN it's so darn pretty I'm not voting it down on those grounds (and the topic's forbidding flowers as the main subject). 10. Some would say the focus is 'blurry,' bu tthe fact that there are bubbles of *perfect* sharp focus floating on the softer background makes it work for me, making it (a) intentional and (b) enchanting instead of making me want to clean my monitor.
