These flowers were just poking out of the snow in the small park next to my flat. I had to abandon study and go out to photograph them, as they looked so pretty with the sun shining on them

too blown in the corner for my taste. and sorry if this isn't true, but it feels staged to me. probably because it doesn't snow where i live. i won't vote down for that :)
Good tones and colour, and an interesting sense of season. Falls down a bit on the indistinctness of the snow, and slightly overdone highlights - some of which are in focus, some of which aren't.
the only thing that bothers me about this photograph is the very very hot top left corner, it is so overexposed that it is distracting, i love the photograph though and to see it go wrong with that is disappointing, great color in the tulip though
