Just an "odd couple" of canvas sun shades to a playground observation deck. Not sure how this will go over, but, I like it so I entered it.

*Use straighten tool to alight the green pole so it is square with the world.

*cloned out what looked like bird poop on the pole and one of the sails.
*Neat Image... auto profile/apply (probably could have skipped this step as it didn't seem to change much of anything)

I guess I felt the challenge description left a lot open for interpretation. I stand by my original reason for entering this shot. I thought they were an oddly shaped couple of canvas sail thingamajigs. Having said that, I must admit that after voting started I had more "wth were you thinking" moments than I care to admit. Ah well, live and learn. I had fun. Hope you did as well. :)

You posted this as your "featured photo" on April 1st and I looked at it and thought it was pretty good for your lowest or 2nd lowest scoring photo. Then I just saw my comment during the challenge......I do like this photo but I guess you suffered from DNMC. Nice to see it again.
Technically a very pleasing photo, the exposer is good and I really like the colors, one of the best photos I have seen so far. I might have cropped a little less at the top to give the pole room to run out. I am not so sure how well it meets the challenge but it's a 7 from me.
I'm having a hard time calling two sails a "couple", but ok...... However, I can NOT see anything odd about them.
Challenge topic aside, I like the photo.... something very pleasing about the simplicity, the colors and the diagonals.
Alright, what's the deal with this. I've been sitting here looking at this photo for awhile now trying to piece it together. I like the photo. I'll come back to it again later.
