the crop and border is a bit strange on this. could use better lighting to show more depth and dimensionality. esp. between the 2 similar color objects.

I think you should have used more of the available file size. This shot is 400x400 and the max id 640x640. I like the block-like effect in this photograph. But with the lighting and dark subjects (especially the hi-8 and vhs) it's hard to differentiate between them. Also, I'm wondering why you chose the border you did. It looks more like the photo is cut off than an actual border - especially at the top.
