Got help from my brother for this one. I illuminated a part of the painting, then I shut the flashlight off, handed it to my brother and he painted me while I held the brush roll thing.
Post processing is mostly done in raw, changed the light balance to tungsten and punched up the contrast. All I did in photoshop was shadow/highlights and USM.

Aesthetic: Very nice and pleasing photo. Good mix of colors.
Technical: The hand is burnt out and the 'painter' is slightly out of focus.
Challenge: Oh yes- it does fit the challenge :)
Conclusion: Overall a nice composition which could have been even better if it was not 'overdone'. The perfect black, or dark, background would have been better (there is some light color visible behind painter). IMO, tighter crop with the painter more in frame (by being placed closer to painting) would have also been nice.

Hehe ... well done. It's nice to have someone really work on the challenge literally ... it really works well even though it could not have been anywhere near as easy as it looks
I thought there would be photos in the challenge to remind us of Fantasia
This one is done quite well, though there are some elements that don't come together (it's very clear that the roller is not touching the wall. The light trail isn't visible enough, and the painter's hand is illuminated bright than it really should be. Very good though. 7
