I REALLY like this. It evokes the end of life very powerfully.

The brown tones suggest the autumn of the year--or the autumn of a life.

The long shadows suggest that it is late in the day, a feeling that is reinforced by the leafless branches.

We are headed towards the black tombstones. We cannot see them clearly, just as we cannot see how our own lives will end.

I like the angle on the image. I think it would have more impact if I could read the tombstones. Nice idea and has a dreary look which is what I think you were after.
