Interesting concept here. The contrast between heavy and light is conveyed and the result is a top notch photo with a bold statement.

that's a heavy feather. this could use some levels adjustments to make the feather stand out more from the background.

Hehehe... interesting... I'm wondering how you got the scale to stick at 100. Nice job though! The lighting isn't very interesting here, but I think it gets the point across. Bothered a little by the lighting around the metal ring, but not too badly. Definitely fits the challenge, although I don't find it to be very appealing photo wise.

this, to me anyway, is contradiction, not a contrast, but it is a fine line. I found myself looking for contradiction as well.... maybe i am being picky...
