This is of my 19 month old grand daughter and her 93 year old great grandma. Her great grandma was reluctant to have her old hands as the subject and she had a hard time setting still for the shot. I am proud of them both and thank them for helping me out.

Congratulations!!! I knew this one was a good shot while it was being taken. How could you go wrong with two beautiful girls in the picture! This is a keeper, and now decorates my desktop at work. I'll order prints for my wall at home as well... I love this picture as well as its subjects, not to mention it was taken by my favorite photographer!

I have wanted to enter a picture of these two for a long time now and I felt this challenge fit my subject material real well. If you have a good subject it's not so hard to make a good picture, as long as the luck holds out.
I knew it was in good company all week as the lowest that it got was around 7.298 with a high of 8.00 when it first started. It has been exciting.
Tender and lovely. I find it very nice that the lines and textures of the hands are what give clues to the contrasts in age. Well duh, I guess (he said to himself!). Nice work. 10
Very touching. I wanted to do something like this, but my younger model (18 mos) didn't seem to want to cooperate!! :-) I think the black and white adds a nice effect, and probably helps to even out the skin tones, some.
My absolute favourite for the challenge, it's gotta win! A wonderful depiction of contrast and a beautiful photo. You can be very proud of this pic - 10.
For a simple shot of two hands it wonderfully conveys a feeling (and a contrast). It is a moving shot, the title helps to convey the generations between them. The photo really causes me to think about all the stories these hands have to tell. Great job.
