 Took a shot of a rose and selected a portion that I thought looked heart-ish! Opened a new psd and pasted that selection. Pasted a copy of that selection and flipped it to line up and make a heart.

a little more contrast between the red and the shadows would have made this stand out a little more.

I really like the heart in the rose. Did you manipulate the petals or was that luck/choice?

Good exposure, nice composition.

This is a great shot and good use of DOF. If I had to improve it, I think I would have experimented with a white background.
