heh...I may get nailed, I'm not sure. I'm not trying to pass the false belief that I have someone that has passed, but I when I sat down to think about this challenge, this came to mind....so I went for it.

The writing is meant to not really 'flow' if you will -- I felt that when it flowed more smoothly, it kind of took on an upbeat or happy tone...and I didn't want that.
Anyway, hopefully people will stop long enough to read the text...it really is a deep message...but anyway

The roses are my girlfriend's -- she's had them for a few years...she somehow got them to just dry up and stay in tact...so I took on a color scheme that sort of showed that the roses weren't supposed to be something new, more like the last flowers a person got before their love passed.

Anyway, I'll probably get a really bad score because the photo isn't all that great...oh well, I had fun and that's all that matters.

I understand the sentiment, but I can't see a heart.
I know it is alluded to, but it would have been nice to actually see one.
a great capture of the roses though-although I don't think the words are necessary-makes it too much of a Hallmark image
This has a bucket full of emotion attached, and I think it's wonderful. Personal preference would be a smaller border, but the exposure seems spot on. I like how the colours are a little muted.
A lovely tribute.
OMG I've just realised. 16th Feb is my birthday. Jeez.
