I was fascinated also by the red dominant that characterised the scene and after a while I decided to maintain it to recreate the mystic atmosphere.

I like the lighting and how the light reflects of the drapes, try cropping out the top, the corners at the top draw too much attention for me at least.
I am not sure about the WB here. I would also use a portrait crop, because I feel like the vertical subject screams for it. Meets the challenge for sure, the idea is good.
