Not a contrast in technique or element, but in theme. The line of crosses is excellent and actually does contrast well with the random shapes all around the image.
Well, you've probably captured one of the biggest contrasts 'life' has to offer. I really like the distance of the man to the tombstones, And while I wish he were a little closer so I could see expression a bit more, he looks hesitant to me, as if death were perhaps contagious so not wanting to get too close. I think you have also done well to capture the pensive and reflectiveness one experiences while at a grave. nice work.
Good idea, I would have liked to see the man closer up in the picture (is this posed or a candid snapshot?) The concrete horizontal strip is not adding to the picture (more of the trees above might have done better). You should have come up with a better title than this one.
