Good broken, nice backdrop to it as well. I had to look a few times to find the broken reference (there's two) but found it eventually.

I really like the idea, but the colors don't entirely work for me. That's not so much your fault as it is the overcast sky. I say great attempt, and go for it when you have some sun to bring out some more of the dramatic qualities of the riverbank.

It's an interesting photo to look at with nice earthy tones, but I'm missing the connection to the challenge. What's broken? Looks like a person standing in the upper-middle left but can't tell what he/she is doing. Sorry for missing the point. :(

I wasn't sure about this one. Much of the image is out of focus, but the tree that is in focus does not seem large enough to stand out because of it.
